The Derwent Group has agreed terms with Quality Save at its Walkden Retail Park on Bolton Road, which forms a part of its Walkden Town Centre development. The discount retailer has agreed to take a 22,615 sq ft (2,101 sq m) unit (Unit 3) on a 15 year lease.

Quality Save is the latest in a number of retailers to secure a place at Walkden Town Centre including Guess How Much, Poundland, and PCT Pharmacy. Walkden Town Centre is already home to brands such as Boots, Costa Coffee, McDonalds, JD Sports, Subway, Tesco, and Aldi.

James Maule-Ffinch, Senior Asset Manager at The Derwent Group said:

“Quality Save is the latest retailer to join our diverse tenant mix at Walkden. The retail park forms an important part of Walkden Town Centre, and so we are proactively seeking out new opportunities to extend the already strong retail and leisure offer available at Walkden.”

Joint agents for Walkden Retail Park are CSP and Petch & Co and the scheme totals 160,000 sq ft (14,864 sq m) with 47,000 sq ft (4,366 sq m) of retail park units currently available, and 10,620 sq ft (986 sq m) currently under offer or in legal negotiations.
