The Gym Group Opens at The Toast Rack

Generation Ltd has signed The Gym Group plc to its iconic Toast Rack scheme in Fallowfield, Manchester on a 15 year lease. The gym occupies 20,000 sq ft (1,858 sq m) of refurbished space on all four floors of the central ‘drum’ building overlooked by the Toast Rack and originally occupied by the Hollings Library.

With capacity for up to 5,000 members, the new gym is their 4^th largest in the UK, and provides flexible, low cost, no-contract memberships with 24/7 access to high quality facilities and equipment from £13.99 per month and is already proving very popular with the local community since opening this month. The much anticipated Toast Rack Gym hit its membership target before its official opening date, becoming one of the fastest uptakes of any of The Gym Group’s recent openings.

The wider Toast Rack scheme will see 210 high specification ‘build to rent’ apartments being delivered as part of the redevelopment of Manchester Metropolitan University Hollings Campus.
